Kerbal Space Program

Kerbin is a dead planet (at least for Kerbals)
There's no place to fly to. There are no airfields to land at. There are no Kerbal buildings except the Space Center.
We need more stuff to look at, really

Get Kerbinside. After your game faceplants a handful of times it'll dawn on you why we don't have a massive city and several airfields, airports and launching pads scattered around.

here[wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com] are the stock easter eggs.

If you want life on kerbin, get Kerbinside, KSC++, and Kerbin City.

@Intoxicated Goat: You need mods such as KER (Kerbal Engineer Redux) or MechJeb in order to display coordinates during a flight. I don't use 'em myself.

There's a better mod called Contract Configurator that includes an Anomaly Surveyor plugin which adds career contracts and waypoints for missions to all of these various "anomalies."

Well worth a look.

Thank you,
let the search begin

@wlayton27 Well i wont be using mechjeb, ever. But the other two mods look interesting, maybe ill try them sometime. Playing vanilla at the moment.

@MAD I believe some eastereggs can be underground depending on terrain settings, not sure if this applies to desert temple too..

Way back in the day, there was cities on the planned features list. I have no idea if that was dropped or pushed back or what thought.

Thanks for letting us know of its existence

I had thought it gone for good

No problem. I would be very disappointed if it were gone, its one of my favorite eastereggs.

Thank you guys I will try the Mod, though I expect it to crash the game as described. What I would say is needed besides the Easter Eggs is:
1 Large nearby city with airfield.
1 Medium City with airfield nearly on the other side of the planet.
1 Small City far way in the southern hemisphere
4 tiny city / airfields scattered about
3 more Easter Egg airfield/bases

So 10 places to actually go.
I should try my hand at making a mod.
I can program tSQL and Java.

I agree it would be great if the stock game had several large cities with airports. Would be great if there was refueling locations too. I've done the mods, but the game never worked right after installing the mods...so I had to delete everything and restart.
