The Journey Down: Chapter One Praise
I have to say, something about this game is nostalgiac. The music, art and gameplay bring me back to the old days of pc games (Pajama Sam, Putt-Putt, Freddie Fish, anyone? Granted, I was a lot younger when I used to play them constantly). A game I recommend to point-and-click admirers and appreciators!

I must agree. It looks and plays great! I wouldn't say it's the best adventure game I've ever played but it's only chapter 1 so I'm looking forward to the rest.

Just finished it, I enjoyed it a lot and I am looking forward to the next chapter.

The only improvement I would suggest is the allow the player to immediately move to the next screen if they double click on an exit. That's pretty much a standard feature of adventure games.

Heya folks!
I just finished Episode One too. Took me about 3 hours. It plays great. Nice atmo, nice (but a little repetetive) music aswell. The puzzles weren't inventing the wheel, but they didnt need to. I like the characters - doesnt happen often these days that I do. Nice cliffhanger ending, but it came a little too soon, as others mentioned. I got it in the "indie royale" mixer bundle, so I cant complain about the price. I hope you guys get enough money to finish all episodes and make them even better and longer then this nice teaser :-)
Greetings from Germany

Thanks for your kind words and thanks for supporting our development!

Chapter two is looking to have a bit longer playtime. Our firsts playtests have indicated that TJD2 will land somewhere between five and six hours to complete, and that's by no means if you're a completionist who wants to listen to all the dialogue, etc etc.

Read up on the development of TJD2 over on www.skygoblin.com
