Quake 3 mods still played online ( OSP, Rocket Arena, CPMA)
Do people play OSP or CPMA online, that is, are there servers (european) servers online with people playing.
I know, when I was still playing Q3 OSP/CPMA, there were still about 3 or 4 servers that were always populated.
Is this still the case in steam q3?

Hey dude, I don't know if its still around, but in CPMA there a server in Europe called OkiDoki or something like that and its just 24/7 Clan Arena, quite popular.

great to hear that! I hope there will be a sale price on q3 on steam soon.
Sadly the steam key of my original quake gold edition is not accepted by steam.

You seem to be confused!
There is no such thing as a "Steam Quake 3". Steam's version is exactly the same game as 10 years ago but the .exe has some modifications so it only runs when you're logged into Steam.
If you have the game already (gold edition) you can perfectly play it.

Steam will only accept keys for games that a) require Steam (like Half-Life 2) or b) games that you explicitly bought as a Steam-key.

omfg, now that i read this, I don't know how i came upt with this question.
I just remembered that after quaklive came out, lot's of regular Q3 servers disappeard. And some years later i heard that there would be still people playing q3 on steam.

Well, thanks for the clarification! I'll look for some servers these days. See you online.
And thanks again =)
