Low violence version in the US?

First of all, if you're going to troll me about how I'm a kid, shut up and leave. I want to play Half-Life, and I know for sure I would be fine with a uncensored version, but my parents don't want me to play it (or any M game for that matter) because of blood and violence, I heard that there is are low violence versions in places like Austrailia and Germany, but is there a way to play a low violence version in the US?

There's a way to enter console commands to disable blood and gibs.
Type this command into the console:
bind b "violence_ablood 0; violence_agibs 0; violence_hblood 0; violence_hgibs 0; kill"
This will kill you. When you respawn, the command will work.

By the way, that works for HL2 and Episodes 1 and 2.

How do you censor out combat? If you cannot handle blood and gibs, how do you expect to handle ragdoll bodies and wounded allied NPCs?

Wrong. As far as I know, HL2 was released here uncut. Only Australia got slapped with a low violence version of L4D2.
