THE G-MAN THEROY By Crouchjump
Rise and shine, Mr. Crouchjump.

***SPOILER ALERT***
***SPOILER ALERT***
***SPOILER ALERT***
Turn back now unless ye want to know!

So we all know about the infamous HL game that started the puzzle/action/adventure/fps game genre. With the mind binding storyline, the jumpscares, and the puzzles which confuse you in ways you never know. I am going to tell you about the ending of HL1 and HL2. If you don't wanna hear, leave the post. Ok, so, I have 2 theroies on the infamous G-MAN who guides you through obsticales in the game. The first EVER sighting of G-MAN was at the depot station right when you are about to get off, you see the G-MAN in another tram. At first I was confused. Then I said " Probably some business guy. " Then I keep seeing him EVERYWHERE. So I played through, defeated the final boss, then I had a discussion with G-MAN. He kept mentoning these " Empolyers. " He eventually explained that I needed to have rest. So then when they made the sequel, HL2, I would get in a big situation where I was confused, then he would appear. On your way to Nova Prospeckt, you will find a combine station with a telescope, you look through this telescope, and there he is. Once the telescope is on the far left, turning to the right. He and the man he was discussing with are GONE. Once I got to the station I noticed the vortigaunt was there. Also at the dam you see the vorigaunts cave, then g-man. My 1st theroy is that G-MAN is a vorigaunt disguised as a human. I also saw in HL1 he was talking with a scientist. Later when we are in the experiment chamber, we learn the the project on the crystal ( Gravity Gun ) Was sabatoged. I beleive that a vortigaunt was sent to earth and was ordered to open the portal between the Vortigaunts and the Humans. Whenever he is sighted, the vortigaunt is nearby. If not true, I beleive he is the overseer of Black Mesa and purposly sabatoged the project because he works with the vortigaunts, just human. So that is my theroy on G-MAN. Thanks if you read all the way. BYE-BYE!

1. There isn't any real evidence backing up that the G-man is a Vortigaunt.

2. If everything you said turned out to be true, then Vorts would just eventually turn into the nanomachines of the HL canon. What this means is that Vorts have a lot of abilities outside of electricity, and act like an easy way out for the plot (how did Gordon and Alyx escape the Citadel? Vortigaunts. How did they survive the train crash? Vortigaunts). If they just threw in stopping time and teleporting on command it would just be flat out ridiculous.

Look, the G Man is the G Man but we all know he wants to help Freeman. Perhaps the G Man's employers are the combine and he just wants to create an opposing force.

If he was working for the Combine, then why haven't they done anything about him? He used Gordon to start a rebellion and kill Breen. He's still employed in Episode 2.

So then why does the G-man set Freeman out to start a rebellion and kill Breen?
Read the rest of my comment before posting! (Besides, the G Man didn't make Freeman start the rebellion; Eli, Alyx, Kleiner and Barney did.

I was asking why the Combine would allow the G-man to constanly ♥♥♥♥ up the Combine's plans. From the sound of it, the G-man wants to get a piece of the Borealis before the Combine.

Gordon lead an army of Antlions to attack Nova Prospekt, which prompted the rebels to fight back against the Combine.

Eli was captured during the attack, Alyx was looking for her father, and Kliener and Barney didn't do jack while Gordon was driving along the coast. They only chimed in with the rest of the rebels when Gordon attacked up the Overwatch factory (A.K.A. Prospekt).
