Can't run... HELP
I started playing and everything is working on my comp... (Linux version by the way).
But, the problem is that my character can't walk very fast. Like the part of the game where you are supposed to run from the guards I always die because I can't run... anyone else having this problem?

have you tried holding left shift? cant remember if it does anything outside of the HEV suit

Same problem here. I just installed the game and I also always die. :-/

Yeah I tried both shifts and neither does anything...

What you have to to is type sv_alternateticks 0 in console.

btw, how can I window halflife 2 cause I've tried the option in the options menu but it doesn't work. send me a message if you can help

you have to strafe on corners, you cant run without the HEV suit

I just tried the strafing, but my guy runs SOOO SLOW there is no way I can get away from them.
