Half-Life 3

I have been waiting to long. And so have all of you Half-Life fans, I understand Valve can make a better game by taking their time, but come on. Give us a sign guys! We have no idea if Half life 3 is even being made. Just tell everybody what happening. Does anybody agree Valve should tell us what going on?

The best thing you can do, the only thing you can do; is just forget about it until it's announced. I personally don't think we'll see another Half Life in the next decade because of the hype everyone has surrounding it. I'm not sure even Valve can make a game live up to the hype of Half Life 3.

lol, it's not even in development. Why else would there be such a complete lack of communication? Besides, there hasn't been so much as a screenshot, video, demo, or even an announcement.

Valve doesn't want to do another Half-Life game because it's a single player franchise. For years now, multiplayer has been all the rage. Why do you think the L4D series, the Counter-Strikes, and Team Hatress have all done so well? All multiplayer, with little to no story.

Sorry, but singleplayer games aren't "in" anymore, and won't be for a long time, if ever again.

I've heard they have like a couple of bits of it. Only bits. No storyline, plot, setting, Alyx killing the hell out of all the advisors for some sort of vengeance of the loss of her father, and no Borealis or Portal linking.

I would have to agree with the sentiment here. We wont see HL3 for a long time if at all. Valve likes making hats for team fortress instead of a stand alone game. Sucks but the truth.

Valve currently aren't working on a new Half life =(
But they are working on Left 4 Dead 3 and a new source engine
