When will HL2 come out for Linux?
I have Linux but HL2 is for Mac and Windows,my question is:When Half Life 2 comes out for Linux?

It sort of already has. If you buy it, it will show up in your library as a beta.

Yes, it's there for Linux - it just doesn't have the Linux icon/badge/whatever they call it.

This fact, however, is obviously unknown to the meat-based grep engines Valve uses for tech support - I was asking if the Oculus Rift was supported by HL2 under Linux, and they said
"Dur-derp HL2 Isn't on Linux". Nevermind that I said I was running it.

Well, at least that's one less thing to worry about; they've finally gotten around to adding the Linux badges to all their ported games, including the ones that are technically still in beta. Also, I'll have to remember "meat-based grep engines." That's a pretty good description.
