HL2 good game?
Is Half-life 2 a good game to buy? I have been looking at it for some time thinking if I should get it.

dont play unless u have played hl1 but otherwise get it

Half-Life is literally one of the best video game series. Both games are loaded with great decor and effects, realistic voice-acting and very original storylines. I highly reccomend getting both games, although I prefer HL2.

IMO getting the Orange Box is one of the best deals in gaming. Even moreso if you get it on sale.

I hate half life 2 it is boring not a good story line and it has the worst ending ever even worse then the season ending of the walking dead season 1 never buy this game

It's a fun game and amazing series in general, if you get it and enjoy it. I suggest trying out Half-Life 1 and possibly even giving Black Mesa Source a run through.

It's not expensive enough to put much thought into it, but if you like it you'll probably pad Valve's bottom line that much more. If you don't like it, you haven't spent much. If you do like it, what you spend will be worth it. That being said, if you own no Valve games whatsoever it would be to your benefit to try it out the cheapest way you can. Then if you get sucked into Valve (no pun intended), you can just buy the package deal and save quite a few bucks.

One of the best games ever, and you can also play HL2 deathmatch online which is still going strong after 7 years, that tells you how good it really is.
