Uh no it won't make the game come out any faster. It will just make Valve hate you more and more reluctant to let you have Half-Life 3 because you're an ingrate.

I'm surprised people still cling to the idea of HL3. I gave up on it long ago, if anything it might end up like Duke Nukem Forever and disappoint everyone.
