Anyone wonder why the characters in Half life 2 do not even question Gordon on where he was or why he did not age between Half Life 1 and 2?

He's there to help, probably don't want to ask too many question. I've never actually thought about it though but, I can see why that would be annoying! I wonder if they discuss it when they're not with him. lol.

They probably found out he was on his way to City 17 for the Nova Prospekt train (Barney's inside the system, and who knows how many else) and intercepted him via Barney

If that's the case why didn't they ask him about how he didn't seem to age at all if he was missing for two decades?

IIRC, doesn't every major character you meet the first time ask you where you've been?

Perhaps the Vortigans informed them beforehand, they seem to be on to something they won't share with you.
