gabe even said not many people are interested in making it, all they want to make is multiplayer games. which leads me to think l4d2 might be the first source 2 game, but hell yeah i'd give them all my monies to play that.

Multi players have taken over the gaming world, so its probably unlikely to see HL3, until valve comes by it maybe another decade later to decide to finish it off.

I'm not bothering to wait anymore, when it comes, and if it comes in my life time, I'll just let it and not care until I've bought it and installed it on steam.

That's if it does come in my lifetime.

If you think multiplayer games will be the only thing people will play in future you are very wrong. If the market will be full of mp people will eventually start to seek for single player game experience. There is just no time for it yet.

If they only want multiplayer games, then fine. But you can't end the series on a cliffhanger like Episode Two. Just finish the story, Valve, and we'll be happy. Plus, if you still want multiplayer, have a co op feature in HL3 like you did with Portal 2.

Half Life 3 is coming. Valve has NEVER disappointed us before. I was there when Half Life 2, TF2, Portal/Portal 2, and DOTA 2 arrived. They were all fantastic. It may take 10 years, but it will come. It will be glorious. It will once again set the bar for PC FPS games. It will be set in the arctic, with full HDR and incredable graphical quality. It will have the Tau Cannon, a ridable snowmobile, a visit to Xen, TF2 promo items, the ability to kill an Advisor, Vortigaunt companions, a new Citadel to blow up, Hunters with railguns, Full AI for D0G, a badass coat for Alyx, Barney, Fire, death, destruction, and chaos everywhere, and a Gravity Gauntlet that goes on Gordon's arm. It will reveal what's on the Borealis and a genuinely suprising twist. It will be glorious. It will be heavy, storywise. It is coming.. And it will be...
