Waves in a custom map
Hello,

I am currently making a custom map for HL2, and was going for a 'firefight' feel (if you've ever played Halo 3: ODST or Halo Reach, I am referring to a gamemode from those. If you haven't played it, you may want to google it so you know what I'm talking about.)

Anyway, what I was wondering was, is it possible that when the Npcs die, the output that is being sent won't trigger till a GROUP of npcs die? I have a feeling it's probably one of the "Logic_" entities, but I'm not entirely sure. Thank you!

Ah, I have found a solution: Use math_counters. Each death adds to it, with the maximum legal value being the number of NPCs in the group. Then, I added the following outputs...

OnHitMax
[Name of Math Counter]
Subtract
[Number in group]

OnHitMax
[name of point_template or other spawner]
ForceSpawn

To end the round, I made another math_counter, with the maximum legal value being the number of waves you want to spawn. Then, I added the following outputs...

OnHitMax
[Name of point_template or other spawner]
Disable

If anyone knows of a way to improve/refine this, please tell me.

I'm not sure I quite understand what you mean. "Mod weapons?" do you mean weapons from GMod addons?
