But Alyx kept interrupting Breen and Gordon's little...business deal with her nagging "GORDON WUD NEVA DO DAT" and then Mossman played her card and forced Breen to run. I always interpretated Gordon's pursuit of Breen after being freed as him merely trying to save face and not indicate to the "winning side" that he would've left them to die.
In short, I probably would've joined him. If I'm gonna have someone made my decisions for me, I'd rather it'd be someone who didn't pretend to be anything else than what they are i.e. my boss. At least Breen wouldn't pretend to be my bestest buddy while sending me on suicide runs.
What if Gordon Freeman was the anti Hero?
Seeing how he cannot talk and gets bossed around by everyone fighting in the resistance.
He wouldn't probably be taken for granted by breen as much as the Resistance does.
