Half Life 2 graphics error
When I try to play half life to it flips the scientis on there sides, and changes every things color randomly can some one help

System specs please (at least your GPU, CPU, and Memory).

Possible Fixes:

1) Verify Cache

2) Re-install

I'm just curious what resolution you are running the game at.
Integrated Graphics can be a bit... off at time.
Usually they play well at 800x600, but anything over that and things get trippy at times.
Now it could also, be Windows.
True launching HL2 in 32 bit.
I have Win7 and its 64. It runs fine, but I have seen people say 64 sometimes messes up their game.

Go to your launch properties and set the launch option to "-32"
Then try launching and see what happens.

I did not work. I re-installed it, verified the cache, Changed the graphics, and changed to a 32 bit.

Ok, you have problems...
But lets see if we can fix them.

Does the game happen to crash?
If not, do you think you could screen-gab a section for me to see and know exactly what we're dealing with...

Ok well the good/bad thing is it definitely looks like a graphics error.
Now its just determining the problem.
Your drivers are up to date?
What resolution are you running the game at?
And
Do you have a GPU laying around anywhere?

GPU is a "Graphics Processing Unit," more commonly known as a Graphics Card.

Ok, so the thing is... Intel HD Graphics + Open GL = bad combo.
Occasionally the HD graphics don't have the Open GL version you require and that may be your problem here.
I have to check some of the game options... I may have a fix...

EDIT: Ok, here's the thing.
I want you to go into your advanced options and put everything to the lowest possible settings.
Disable everything and put everything down.
Then report back here and tell me what happens.
