[Bug Report] Item - Blightshard Amulet gives summon skill, but that skill is not working properly.
The item "Blightshard Amulet" when equipped allows you to use the skill "Summon Blighted Rift Scourge."

The skill is useable and will summon the pet. However, the pet does no damage to creatures or possibly it is just completely incapable of hitting creatures.

My character is pretty much a pure summoner and my Hellhound and Storm Raven clean house quite effectively. By "quite effectively" I mean they were able to kill the Warden while I was in the kitchen making myself a cup of tea.

When I added this creature into the mix I was stoked to have another pet... but it didn't seem to be doing much of anything.

As a test I went back to Devils Crossing and dismissed my other pets. I set my summoned Rift Scourge to aggressive and went into the beginner area. The Scourge was able to spit at the zombies and even use its poison nova ability... but it never did any damage at all.

I'm unsure whether the issue is that the creature simply can't actually hit anything for some reason or whether its hitting, but not dealing any damage.

Personally, I'm kind of leaning towards the not hitting thing since I had also tried giving it the benefit of a piercing aura which should have at least resulted in it doing enough damage to kill the first zombies in the game.

Anyone else encounter this issue?

Hmm... not a single other soul out there has input on this?

Any other players happen to have this item and able to also test out if their summon skill is broken?

I have one of those amulets stashed away, so I pulled it out to try it. (Haven't used it since before the hotfixes)

At any rate, I found that its poison nova was doing damage, although the hits seemed very delayed. The spit attack did nothing.

Maybe some issue leftover from your bug report on the 1st Draug?

Thank you for the information. Glad to have someone else out there who was able to test it out as well.

I may have to dig mine out and recheck the poison nova since you mentioned the delay. I never noticed that it doing anything when mine used it but maybe the target was still too far off when the nova went off or possibly I just didn't wait long enough for it to kick in.

We had the same results on the spit attack though. I watched my scourge use its spit attack on several different targets from various ranges and never saw any damage dealt.

Thanks again.

Thanks for pointing that out. I'm not Draug though so I wasn't aware of that thread.

I generally avoid posting a bug report in the official threads until I run it by some others in the Steam forums and see if they've experienced it as well.

If the item was originally messed up in some fashion its quite likely that something was still overlooked.

When I first used the Scourge I didn't even notice the lack of damage being dealt. The Scourges attack is really rapid fire and looks like it has a huge spread to it which when combined with the chaos of fighting with all my pets it didn't really stand out at first.

Thank you kindly for the confirmation here Zantai.

Thanks as well for the work that you and the other Crate staffers have done to bring Grim Dawn about. Its shaping up to be a great game.
