To buy or not to buy
Simple title for simple answers, just say yes and a small reason why and no with also a small reason why, so we can get an idea of the game from players who have played it for 10+ hours.

Yes. Best combat feel in an ARPG yet! Like TQIT with many improvements.

I enjoy it. 100+ hours.. I am not going to say it is perfect but in a time where I completely abanoned the ARPG genre this game still has me playing.

I'd say it is worth it, but only once they actually finish the game.

I'd say yes : for 20 € or $ you got lot of fun and things to do / build to try etc.
Game is not complete BUT from far I take much pleasure to play it than lot of "finished" games.

For me the reason #1 is simple : LOOT TABLE. Arpgs should be based (IMO) around the interest of farming/finding items and empower your differents build (D2 was awesome for that.. Trying a "Beast" sorceress was kinda funny, or just "ench." one etc..).

I played PoE in closed beta, before Act3 was released and IMO, they have lost that : LOOT TABLE ! Keeping same items from lvl 30 to 70 is (for me) a nonsense in an Arpg.

With GD, table loot is succesful (at the moment, i hope it will keep like that). So you play it...again ...and again..and again. with fun.

You definitely a business man. And very smart. Spending 950 hours on one game automatically makes you Donald Trump and Einstein combined.

I don't see an issue with the man playing the heck out of the game.. Whats the problem you have with it? Gamers always hating on other gamers for no damn reason. You must stay hating don't ya?
