Loot drops at high level

This game is great but after you reach a high point in the game farming for loot is a pain in the ass when you after that rare end game gear and all you keep gettting is stuff for other class or most times its the same 10-15 things that drop over and over. Im hoping that they see this an give maxed level pepole a better chance and getting the gear they are after. Now dont get me wrong i love the grind for gear it adds to the award of it all but i can spend days playing 4-6hr each time and get jack not even scrolls for crafting. I only play one class so the loot i do get just goes to iron bits and even that does not mean much anymore. I want to play this game but its all but dead to me now farming is a pain and gets me no where. Please Help!

It would seem that the obvious answer would be to trade some of the stuff that you get with other players for the things that you want. Odds are, what you have is something they want, and they might have what you want.

Other than that, there are a lot of items in this game. Odds of getting "exactly" what you need is relatively low, and ultimately RNG(so one player might get it fairly fast, while another has to grind for several days or even weeks to get lucky).

What exactly do you want the Developers to do about it?

Have you ever spent any time trying to trade with anyone? Its more of a pain then farming it. What i want is a fair reward for the time i spend farming. I agree that some may get it first try and others might take more but that more should not be 1000 times.

p.s I have almost 1900hr playing this game i think ive earn the right to ♥♥♥♥♥ alittle about the loot drop rate.

Play more, get more loot, get more chances to get what you want. That's how the game works and that's something that doesn't need a fix of any kind.

Getting your preferred loot easily and fast is what kills games such as this. Don't be a casual and don't try to ruin the experience for your selfish needs.

put alittle more time in the game going after the end gear your looking for and you will know what im talking about when i had few 100hr of game time it was great the drop rate on loot was just fine come talk to me after 2000hr.

Trade is still an option. I mean, if you have spent hundreds of hours on 1 char to get a specific pieces of gear, it would probably have been much faster to make a few posts about trading here on steam and on the official forum.

I ask again, what do you want the devs to do for you, exactly?

i'm with you. most RNG game devs are really stingy with the loot. the RNG is even multi-tiered. 1900 hours you deserved to moan. luck is not at your side. only way is you go crucible or trade with someoen.

I agree it as to be the item you need with a good roll for that particular class out of eight the rng gods have to be shining on you for sure,there is no way around it though plus you dont need bis to complete ultimate,i must have the worse trickster build ever made not one thing matches and her chest piece is vitality damage and i am bleeding damage, but she did it i have just got the last boss in Malmouth to do but i cant be assed.

Unless a game does some "infinite progress" garbage your chance per drop of finding a gear improvement will always get worse as your gear gets better. You can make up for this - for a while - by getting better at killing things or moving around quickly but eventually both of those reach a plateau. At 1900 hours you should be way the hell over the horizon in the land of diminishing returns.

You'd be better off discussing particular loot drops or maybe talking about how many hours you have since AoM came out. For example, I'm still not really happy with some of the MI drops in the campaign - the trash mob MIs get rare affixes too infrequently and some bosses need to drop their MI each kill to make it worth farming them unless that MI is the only item you need.

1,866 hours of Grim Dawn and you've never visited Port Valbury, never activated 50 shrines, never completed at least challenger crucible, never completed hardcore mode and your worst problem right now is that farming is hard? Ohh man, you must be kidding, right? -.-

In some ways i can agree with the post but after 1100 hours myself, i find trading with players is great :) It feels more like a community and it's good helping each other out :) Go trade and make some new friends lol
