Bug! [cave with giant eye]

After hypnotizing myself again I can't beat the curtain with the club. I must have clicked to many times on the rope and now Lilli got stuck in front of it without moving anywhere else. I can examinate the objects around her with the right click of the mouse but my left click is performing no actions :( What can I do now?

Pleae tell I don't have to restart the game from the beginning, I have no saves along the road. Sigh.

What happens if you save the game and start it again?
Can you open the save menu?

Support has sent me a couple of saved games to work around the bug! Good :)
