Any news on that?
Cheers
I hate GoG but really: just get both games for the same money on GoG instead.
Heck, I'm all for the convenience of Steam, but GOG is probably the only digital distribution store that does just about everything right:
Absolutely no DRM, ever, unlimited redownloads forever, absolutely fair pricing around the globe, unlike Steam they make sure that every game they sell works well, even on platforms it wasn't initially developed for, excellent support and if all that weren't enough: they stuff every single purchase full of as many great goodies as possible.
I can still somewhat understand if someone prefers Steam's golden cage, I enjoy the convenience of the one click downloads and updates myself ... I can certainly see the appeal, trust me ... and I ultimately accept the shackles that go along with it.
But actually hating GOG - that sounds exceptionally silly.
It is perplexing why they didn't include the same deal in Steam, I would have bought both games on Steam for $20, it is a very good deal, I mean its the internet I can search for the game elsewhere and compare.
Because with Harveys new eyes Daedalic did a much better job. The english localisation is top notch and the narrator (that you listen to about 75% of the entire game) sounds imo better than in the german version. It would be a shame to let this game pass if you liked Deponia, because Harvey's New Eyes is twice as good.
