The first game in the series was entirely developed in java and worked wonderfully in linux. I don't know if that's still the case with Harvey's New Eyes. I can't think of a reason not to release it for linux, though.

lol, wasting time, Steambox will be linux, it's definitely going to be in devs interests to work on linux ports ahead of time to be ready for launch, may not be soon but it's coming!

There is ps3 / xbox / wii u / windows / nvidia shield / mac / nintendo ds
you can't be sure steambox gonna perform something, specially if they cost 1000 euros ^^
