I "cheated" through a problem

I cant pinpoint the exact location i tink it's somewhere near stairway to heaven where the ceeling is acually another room, and i somehow managed to get blocks in there and build underneath myself and I got into this weird purple room with seemingly no purpoace; any1 got any idea what that is?

The cool thing about this game is there is no one solution to a problem. There are many ways to approach a puzzle and many ways to solve it. I wouldn't really call it "cheating" just a different way of solving a puzzle. With the purple room, there are a lot of rooms with dead ends and no purpose, so that's probably one of them.

The whole purpose of this game is "trying to outsmart" the system :D Maybe it was even intended to solve this problem like this.
