But really it's up to you what path to choose. Honestly I think you are supposed to only do puzzles for your gun color blocks and lower but that hasn't stopped me from trying haha
Many puzzles don't have just one solution, and most puzzles can be done in any order. These things increase the replay value.
The order is really only controlled by the gun you have. There have been a few puzzles where I've skipped and gone back to later since you kinda have to do certain things more than once to "finish" them.
I haven't tried it myself, but it might be possible to complete the game without the red gun at all... ;)
You mean getting into the end and spreading the red cubes to pick up and remove the rest?
You don't need the red gun to get past that point, I did it with the red gun but I didn't actually use it's special property just used the yellow's drag to move tool.
That's right I didn't realise the red gun could spread cubes, (I only thought it sucked them in) until I was nearly finished the game. I got into The Escape and was stuck on the tracks on the floor puzzle. I half completed it using the draging method (and probalby could have completed it) but then figured out the red gun's special property...which made that puzzle and many others like getting across WTF!? a lot easier
No, you could not get through those tracks without the spread because it eventually runs out of range. The spreader does not.
