UDK.exe has stopped working

Just bought and downloaded the game, keeps crashing on startup with that error, help?

I have, and tried every single solution, my question to the dev(s) is why release a game that is not compatible with a very popular graphics card producer (AMD Athalon).

Does the game actually start for you?

Because my game keeps getting the UDK.exe has stopped working without the game even starting up and it really sucks.

I get to the first splash screen (I just hear the noise) for about 2 seconds then I get the crash.

I installed the nVidia Physix driver, and followed all the stickies solutions. Still not working, I want a refund.

I got this error by accident. Not sure if it was my computer or the game itself, but it crashed when i tried to make a cube with the "garden effect."

Yeah, the game crashes when you try to close a cube on yourself. Talking from experience.

Installing the latest UDK (http://www.unrealengine.com/en/udk/downloads/) helped me.

I'm running a Radeon HD 6850. Downloading and installing this resolved the crash for me. No further crashes into the game for me!
