The game works under Wine

The game works under Wine. My computer is arround 4 years old, the game is a tiny bit laggy, but it works. I have many .net and many directx extensions installed in my WINEPREFIX, so I can't say what make it works, but I'm playing it.

Thanks for reporting. Wine is sometimes tricky (especially since .NET 3.5 seems to be required), so I still won't risk it without a demo.
