is this game worth it?
i was planning on getting this game but im not sure now that i see a bunch of crashes on the post so is it really worth 20 dollars

I loved it & would strongly recommend it to anyone.

That said, would I pay the full asking price for it if I had to? No, probably not.
I didn't 'buy' it until I found someone willing to trade it to me for another game I had obtained for significantly less than antichamber's asking price.

That's just me though; everyone places a different value upon money.

As for issues I've encountered, they've all been fairly minor & have not impeded my enjoyment of the game at all:

1) Framerate issues in certain areas (where multiple portalled areas coincide)
2) Crash issue when flood filling large areas.
3) Some graphical artifacting; though I honestly can't tell if it's intentional & part of the art style.

This game is one I'd say is not worth missing, but I agree with the above post I wouldn't pay the $20. Maybe wait till Summer Sale.

I havent had any performance or stability issues at all.

The game is absolutely worth it. I've had a total blast; took me just under 10 hours to reach the end, and now I'm just working towards 100% completion.

There is nothing even remotely like it out there.

if you want to have your mind ♥♥♥♥ed into oblivion in a good way, then yes buy the game. the presence of bugs/crashes doesn't detract from the awesome concept of the game, as bugs can (hopefully) be patched out in the future. only thing I encountered was the crashing at launch (on my laptop only, desktop it worked fine) and the physx update on the sticky fixed it.
