[Spoilers] Pointless rooms?
Having played ( and finished ) the game within the last 5 hours (now with quite a headache) I met some rooms that were pretty much a dead-end and I couldn't figure out what their point was.

I went through 2 Rooms that looked like easter eggs to me, one displayed some kind of graph that ended with pos1-something (not quite sure what it was supposed to mean) and one that was basically a small 3d model of the "green-tunnel-maze"-puzzle.

But there were also 2 rooms I couldn't solve, one being a completely blank, square room (after the 2 motion-sensitive cubes) I could not escape from no matter what I did; and one room where the red blocks were behind black walls which gave them a wire-model look, the clue was to look behind the curtains but nothing ever happened.

Does someone know the solution to these rooms (if there is any?)?

Also inb4 I'm not a native english speaker

The Green Tunnel Maze overhead Room, Code Snipet Room, Wireframe room (and one other room not mentioned) were all easter eggs to give the player a little insight to the games developement. The blank room however is something different. Its my suspicion that reaching that room before the time runs out yields something different, perhaps a new doorway or item within the room

it seems that many rooms are pointless i beat the game with the yellow gun in 3 hours and i hear talk of a red gun?

There are 4-5 easter-egg rooms that have pictures on the walls that show some concepts of the game. The blank room literally nothing in it, even though it requires a lot to get there. The author of the game has already confirmed that the blank room has no exit yet (but will most likely have one in future versions). Also, you need the red gun to beat the game, so if you haven't found it, you haven't beat the game yet.

False. The game can be beaten without the red gun. It just requires some very clever manipulation with the yellow gun.

I actually just posted a guide on how to access most of these rooms, but I prefer to call them "developer" rooms rather than just pointless. :P

But yes, most of the rooms in the game are there to teach you how to play, and you can actually skip most of them. And, indeed, you can beat the game without the red gun, it isn't required, but it certainly makes some of the ending puzzles easier.
