Keybinding

I've been looking at this game for quite a while, and from what I've seen, it turned out great. However, wen I started the game to finally try it out, I couldn't change the keyboard controls.

I am left handed, and all games that I play, I need to change them to the arrow keys, otherwise it is extremely uncomfortable.

I was wondering if there was any plans for customizable controls, or at the very least, a few alternate control schemes.

This is a show stopper for me too; I never use WASD and can't play games that have this control scheme hard-coded into them. I'll never understand why devs don't allow keybindings to be changed...

I would start there. Try changing those and post some results.

Sadly no, that didn't work for me. I have a crazy kinesis keyboard so the spacebar is on the right side of the board. So yeah, no jumping...

Ok I took another shot at it and found the solution for all you lefties.

Bindings=(Name="W",Command="GBA_MoveForward",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="S",Command="GBA_Backward",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="A",Command="GBA_StrafeLeft",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="D",Command="GBA_StrafeRight",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)

Just search for the key you want to change:
Example: Ctrl+F "Name="W"

Once you find that change the Name to the key you want.
Good luck with special named keys, I'm not sure what their names are.

@Kersijus, this thread was a year old already, there was no need to bump it. Especially since all the previous posts said that they got it working already.

Do the same thing that was described how to do above, just use whatever key names you want to use from this page http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/KeyBinds.html#Mappable%20keys

its incredible do have to edit ini files to get the game working..................

The game works just fine as-is, although if you prefer to change any of the keybindings, then it is available to be able to do so. Maybe it's good that it isn't an easy in-game menu for once; you can learn how to actually map keybindings.
