This game is too logical!
I have solved every puzzle by using simple logic. Ok well not simple but I was expecting for this game to mess with my head more a lot more. Stuff can only appear out of nowhere once. My favorite puzzle was the stairs it was the only puzzle I have found so far that legitimately messes with your head, which stinks that it was also the easiest puzzle to solve.

Yeah; the logic that this game uses is very different from other games, but once set its rules are still very much nonchanging and the puzzles logical within the game itself. Stuff absolutely could appear out of nowhere more than once(a hallway could lead to one place 70% of the time and to an other place 30% of the time to give a very basic example), but this isn´t that kind of game. Very much simply about learning new rules that are quite different from normal rules, not about constantly changing the rules and trying to deal with that.

When I read that this game messed with your head I was expecting stuff like you walk through a room and gravity changes, or a doorway that could warp you to several locations, rooms that look huge but are really quite small, areas that randomly change as soon as you look away. I was expecting a game that breaks logic and reason on a consistant basis instead of a game that applies it in a somewhat different way. It is still a good game and it makes up for this by dominating your attention.

Hmm... Halls do warp you to several locations, infinite rooms, areas that do change (though not so randomly) as you look away. Those are all there.

It's off because the game is front loaded with all of the trippy perception bending things, and it becomes more mundane as you progress. It ends up feeling like a bait and switch. It's still a really good puzzle game, and the brick mechanics and controls are pretty awesome, but it's not the game you probably signed up for.

I think the thing is that you travel through the trippy, perception bending things so many times as you traverse the maze trying to unlock doors that you stop noticing them.

Gravity change -> No.
A doorway that could warp you to several locations -> No, but you can warp to a same doorway from several locations.
Something that looks huge but is small -> The green cylinder in one of the "Falling forward" room.
Areas that change as soon as you look away -> There's plenty of that. There's just no "random".

I agree that Antichamber is more about learning new rules (don't jump on invisible paths, the balls' velocity depends on your pace, look to the portholes and walk backward, etc.) than about consistently breaking all the rules you know.
But before you manage to forget the rules you know and accept Antichamber's rules, you should have some mind****.

Yeah I never had that when I started playing. It did take me a few tries to get things right, but that was just me knowing what to do and missing a little piece of info on how to do it. Like not seeing something. Making more blocks was a pain, I ended up having to look it up which was annoying because I found out I did it right the first time and it didn't work for what ever reason. It may have been because I made the box with two blocks on the inside, but I really don't remember now.
