Im stuck, I need a little, and i mean a tiny bit of help.
Okay so... I got the blue gun, did every possible puzzle/room with using the blue gun, then got the green gun did every possible puzzle/room with it and even went back thru blue rooms... and now I believe I need to get the orange gun. I can see it through a door but the door needs 12 cubes to open and the max possible i can think to get to that door is 8. The area is called managing supplies or some ♥♥♥♥.

So what Im asking for of you guys is, with spoiling as little as possible, how do i get the orange gun? or more specific, how do i get more than 8 cubes to open the door that requires 12 cubes that can lead me to the orange gun?

Thanks.

There is a mechanic you haven't learned about the green gun yet. You can grow cubes as long as you have 8 or more. I would suggest *not* looking up any walkthrough, spoilers or none, it's better to beat the game completely yourself.

was this explained/hinted ingame somewhere anywhere? except that stupid sign saying once you have a number of smth you can grow more? cuz i wasted few hours running around aimlessly. was i not careful enough?
also kinda silly mechanic if you ask me, ofc i'm no gamedesigner, but it turns a bunch of impossible-looking rooms into child's play - from one extreme to another :/

It's not explained per-say, but it is shown many times (by you using the mechanic without realizing it).

to be honest, i thought that's how those glass windows should work by themselves. so i attributed that mechanic to 'under-window' space. turns out i didn't picked up this major concept. thanks for your comments.

If you go to Too Many Lasers, turn around, and walk forward to that puzzle. That is the "tutorial" puzzle.
