has anybody done a non video walkthrough for this?

I don't want to watch a video walkthrough because what is the point playing the game if it's already being showed to you. but I want to know if I'm generally in the right place at any moment by looking to the side and reading a bit.
Has anybody done a written walkthrough?

It's not linear and I would like to highly recommend that you try to finish the game on your own. The rewarding feeling will be lost if you just follow a guide.

it's just that i got to this bit where there are blocks stuck in a slot in the wall and i can't use them. can't figure out what to do next. :(
