Yeah if you get to a place on the map then you're meant to be able to get there (for the most part, minus a few glitches that I highly doubt any casual playthrough will find).

The arrows on the map are "jumps" to a different room on a different part of the map, so the gaps and empty spots are just where you completed a puzzle in one room and walked through a portal into the next room. Antichamber uses this technique a lot, especially for puzzles wherein you walk one direction and then turn around only to find yourslef in a different place to where you started. (the portal was in the room you came from, but it does not exist in the opposite direction.

actually the special field thingies exist there and you can't place any blocks except for that @ the yellow "wtf..." sigh you can take the blocks and make a gigantic ladder up. and @ the purple field you can shoot just underneath it and make a bridge against the wall.

and for me it is a casual playtrough first time playing but im enjoying it alot.

Yes, because you were able to do that, it means that it is an intended solution for that specific puzzle.

I just finished doing that myself and was wondering whether if there was an easier solution to get to that room. It wasn't super complicated but it took for freaking EVER

Well there are other solutions for it, but that is one possible intended solution.
