I guess it's because of FOV. Game does have really low FOV but thing is that some puzzles are designed around that so increasing it may break them. You may try to increase it or just play with controller from couch.

Another thing may be because of high contrast differences between things without antialiasing but applying antialiasing in this title doesn't look good at all. If you have over 60Hz monitor increasing framerate smoothing may also help. More info at same link

The Graphics are "hard" and the movement is really quick... the Cube like maze doesn't help either.
maybe sitting further away from your monitor will help to reduce dizzyness.

I didn't get dizzy but got one hell of a headache. I'm going to try cranking down my screen brightness so that the contrast isn't quite as killer to the eye, hope that helps.

Played about an hour, have some nausea now. It's an amazing game, has had several mechanics already that I've wanted to see explored in a game for years now, but I don't think I'll be able to sit and grind through another session even as long as this one.

Edit: Like the OP, I'm almost never affected by games, whether dizzyness, nausea, or even headaches. Last time I had a problem involved Descent and tequila, and that may not have really been Descent's fault.

while this wont solve the problem it does offer some ways to alleviate the problem. i get this problem (some games more than others but it is a real problem. despite this it doesnt mean there arent ways around it.

I got really dizzy day 1 after that I seemed to be good though, the game is just very disorienting and sometimes hard on the eyes/brain. Once you get to the sections where you use the guns for puzzles, there isn't as much to make you dizzy. day 1 though I played for like 1-2 hours though, but I was really dizzy....
