Am I the only one who found no real challenge to this game?
Everyone seems to think it was extremely difficult, but I think it wasn't. It didn't require much thinking at all. It was actually very relaxing. Is it just that the game is more difficult to people who think differently?

This is true, just take a look at the HLTB: http://www.howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=510&s=submissions

Some people took only 2-3 hours to get to the end while others took upwards of 14-15 hours (and I'm sure there's plenty more diverse completion times that haven't been submitted to HLTB.

For me personally though, I had already played the alpha/beta version prior to release (Hazard: the Journey of Life, an old UT3 mod), so it only took me about 2 or 3 hours to finish the map and find all the signs. The pink cubes took another hour or so to find all of them because they weren't in the earlier versions.
if you only have in midn to finish the game then eys its really shorth but my fun was to find every possible room and easter eggs so the lasted me a good couple of hours wich i enjoyed completely

Much of the challenge of the game is based on the player treating the virtual space as conventional space. The more one thinks of it that way, the harder it is to find the solutions.
The real "difficulty" is finding out which one is the next puzzle to solve... and where it is...

a few puzzles were "difficult" until I figured I was mistaken about their "rules" and I was supposed to do it the opposite way, and also the "make a closed figure to earn extra blocks mechanic wasn't ingrained on me for the laser door (had a twitch alternate solution that took a while) but overall yes the game's as easy as an IQ test
For me the game was more about just being lost in that world. Some puzzles you had to think about a bit, or you would just overthink it. Overall, I loved every second of the game's style and atmosphere. Very surreal and dreamlike.

Apparently not if you read the comments.

I gotta be honest, it just slowly snapped together. It certainly wasn't easy but like a good question you will through either sheer will or thought will come across an answer. There were a lot of times I would stumble across the puzzle from the other side. I was actually going "backwards" in terms of progression as I went from room to room.

I never actually got to a point where I was overthinking.

The odd part was I remember trying this out back when it was unknown at IndieCade and got to talk to the guy for a bit. I'll have to say he certainly thought of a good angle to sell it as to make people who play games rethink how to play anti-chamber. But I'll be honest, never came across that issue.

The only type of person I can think of that applying to is the person who enjoys video games but is so used to being strung along from point A to point B to point C. So basically anyone who grew up on more modern gaming. Those who are a bit older and played various video games as a child as their main hobby through their lifetime, should not really have too difficult of a time.

Certainly a good experience though that did something not a lot of games are doing right now. Making me think. That alone is worth the investment be it alone or the Humble Bundle 11 going on right now.

The single best review I've seen for this game. Thank you for your input.

The thing that made the game "hard" was the fact that standard navigation is pretty much worthless. Also, since there were things you collected, sometimes I would get to a puzzle and wasn't sure if it was sovable or not. For a good time I thought there was a gun to seprate the cubes, then by sheer accident I figured it out. I was doing a 0 spoiler play of it, I didn't even know how many guns there were. My middle mouse button is somewhat broken so yeah lol.

The developer of this game said that non-gamers might find this game easier than standard or hardcore gamers. Because standard gamers have expectations and don't usually think "outside the box". Non-gamers go into the game with an open mind, which allows them to think of things that hardcore gamers might not think of.

That said, I finished the game in 10 hours, which is the exact average time for finishing the game.

Most of the challenging puzzles were optional, because once you get the red gun, you can go straight to The End.

I finished in that amount of time, but was AFK for over half. I do nothing but game, but I'm a very outside the box person. I guess that explains it.
We really need achievements, so that childish bragging threats like this don't have to happen anymore.

Bragging threats? I was actually curious. Everybody on the forums seems to be getting stuck a lot. Also, do you actually understand what the word threat means?
