Bug by planting

I like this game relly much but this is the third time this bug happens:

I tried to plant some lureplants near the end of the map, but then it lagged a short time and i got kicked out of the map, probably it was because the plant needed more place and i was just moved away in the waves then.
That would be a problem, but i think it was programmed that when you hit the end of the map you can't move anymore, so i could move around the waves but i couldn't get inside the map/field anymore.

To escape, you'll probably need to spawn in one of the ancient teleporting staves... -.-
What do you mean by "end of the map", though? the world is supposed to be infinite.. :P
also, are you using any mods?

nope i didn't used any mods, i even didn't used the dlc (didn't activated it)
yes i died and lost all my stuff in the waves, but i activated a touch stone before so it's ok...
the sad thing is even chester and abigails flower got deleted in the waves.
And with end i mean where you probably can walk, sorry for that
