First Boss Battle

First time i saw a Treegaurd, i jumped and was killed because i could not get my fingers back on the keyboard fast enough to get away. How did you react to the first boss you saw? What kind of boss was it? Did you die or not?

I thought treeguards were friendly. This was back in early access so theres only max 100 health. After he hit me I started to kite him and got that 5W33T L00T

The biggest surprise for me was the first time Pengulls jumped out of the water as I walked along. I just stood there slack jawed.

The second biggest wtf came when I ran across the now famous horde of glitched ice hounds.

when i saw the pengulls i liked them cuz they looked cool. i pretended to be like them by going in the herd of em then i attacked an ran. oh god why. they're even faster than hounds?

My first encounter with a treegaurd was a awesome battle. I was low on sanity (playing as woodie) and I was chopping down a tree to start a fire.

And then a freaking tree stood up.

It was late, so my sanity was even WORSE but I managed to make a fire and stay alive. The treegaurd and I ran around the fire pit with the treegaurd, and it's monster aura caused me to go <50 sanity.

Then two freaking hands put out my fire.

Thank god it was close to morning, the pigs murdered the treegaurd and I researched a bunch of crap. That was my first boss battle.

i was cutting trees with my gold axe then a freaking HUGE tree tried to kill me i tried to cut it but it did not work...

hounds probably killed me first, but multiple walrus groups when ill-prepared are the worst

the first Pig I turned by over-feeding wasn't pleasant either as I remember

My first boss was the hell hounds they were simple enough till I accidently made my base near a walrus camp. Constant attacks from ice hounds and mctusks.... I still have 76 teeth from that.

I kill first boss...treeguard but i use TestingTools-mod

My first encounter with a boss monster were the spider queens, at the time I was whittling away at a dense spider den so then I could control where the spiders had their eggs.

At that time I didn't realize there was such a thing as spider queens so I just ran in willy nilly. 1 spider queen came up and I thought "Wut"

I ran across another overgrown spider web and another spawned, then another. This is where I died from the giant mass of spiders that had been spawned from the queens.

Luckily I had a meat effigy at home and I grabbed some backup junk I had and ran to the pig village to grab some pigs to get my loot back, the pigs did not work out as well as I would have hoped and I had to bait the spiders away from my stuff so I could quickly grab it and run away.

Not the best first experience with a boss monster :|
