Not particularly. I have played a few iterations of both those series. The only real comparison to Harvest Moon is you can build a farm plot. This is completely optional however, and you can do perfectly fine without any.
In Harvest moon you till your land, buy your seeds, water them daily, and eventually harvest and sell them. Not so in Don't Starve.
Character interactions and events are also a heavy element of Harvest Moon games that you do not see in Don't Starve beyond a very basic 2 season change.
Animal Crossing... I haven't a clue where you get that one from. That game takes place around a real time real world clock, and again like Harvest Moon is based heavily on ingame social interaction. In Don't starve you're alone on an island fighting for survival.
Were you stoned when you wrote this?

Aye? tough tounge

Not really, alot of the mechanics and motions of the game, and even animations feel very similar to Animal Crossing. The fishing, the butterfly net, the way the bugs work... all very very similar to Animal Crossing.

This game actually reminds me of RuneScape.

More similar to them than Minecraft. In fact, this game isn't similar to Minecraft really at all save for building ♥♥♥♥, eating food, and you have a pickaxe.

This game was definitely inspired by the Harvest Moon/Rune Factory/Animal Crossing games with a touch of Tim Burton. Differences are simply that you sort of have to keep moving in DS, and there are no real NPC interactions save for pigs (not sure what the future of Adventure Mode holds though), but yeah a lot of mechanics are the same.

Wakfu is...somewhat like this game, with boss fights and such also and it has graphics pretty much just like Bastion. I consider Don't Starve to be better.

I also consider the fact that Noone's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a game's graphics when they are obviously intentionally stylized to be a bit lame. Closed-minded graphic ♥♥♥♥♥s...ugh.
