To avoid any spoilers I won't go into much detail. But from what I have played so far I am very pleased. This isn't even the final product and it feels finished. There are a few little surprises that I know many of you will be over the moon for, I was fist pumping the air everytime I found something new, trust me if the ceiling was lower I would have put a dozen holes into it by now!

It just feels....perfect all round, obviously this is early release and not everything is avaiable yet. But there are new monsters and some new things to craft and interact with. Gobblers are still annoying and now we get another type of monster that is equally annoying >:|

I haven't come across any bugs so far, it runs smooth on my laptop. I normally play games on my main PC, this just goes to show the DLC should run perfectly fine on lower end rigs. Honestly if this is early beta and I am already in love with it...OMG! My mind is blown right now!! You guys have to try it out!!

This is early access beta. As Bryce has stated, they wont release new characters and giants till later on.

Yep, keep in mind this is only a testing beta phase. Not all content is in or finished yet, everything will be added as Klei finishes.

Is it me or does Don't Starve with the DLC seem much more colourful/brighter? The art looks so much smoother and vibrant.

The new seasons have coloration filters, everything has a green tint in spring, winter is white, summer is orange, etc.

Dude...they gave us six months of free content, they worked their butts off to give us that and the game was well finished after half of those updates, but they just kept giving us free new and cool stuff. Dont act so entitled. Theres SO much new content in this DLC. And its 4 bucks.

Is it just me or did the DLC get rid of random flint?

I couldnt find any random flint, I just so happened to find a pickaxe and it really sucked

I found lots of flint. I also noticed an increase in gold veined boulders and normal boulders to mine.

Have you noticed a certain new monster moving around under the ground? Kill it to get flint back. Day 5 and I had plenty.

Walked north and found boulders, mined them for more flint and gold :) total over 20 now :) and it's only day 2 lol.

Lets try and keep all DLC related issues in the pinned topic mate. Jan and JoeW will have an easier time reading all the feedback we give in one place. Mind if I merge this topic with the pinned?
