The following is why I dislike this game:
Despite its attempt to capture what and how a battle is in real life this games is based on the style of zerging. For those who know about the old old starcraft you know what I am talking about. As for those who do not understand, zerging out is when you build a lot of one type of unit and just attack with overwhelming numbers. That's all you need in this game. Capture all the resources and create one type of unit in vast amounts and you dominate. Now my friends, and most likely yourself, will tell me no you have to have some strategy. But that is my point you don't have to have strategy if you are playing like the Zerg from starcraft. I will be fair and say I suck. I never did play well with the whole zerg mentality. As a matter of fact I try to stay away from games that play to that style because I get nothing from it except boredom. But when it is involved with WW2 or actual war stuff related to real world events, I get a bit ♥♥♥♥ed off. Mostly because it is a game based on a war that happen but made to facilitate the desire to make reality pointless and stupid. Like for instance the Maus for Germany shouldn't exist in the game. It existed for maybe a hiccup in the whole entirety of the war. But the game creators obviously focus more on what they want rather than actually challenge players to try to learn how to conduct a battle.
As for any counter arguments I will just say this: I know for a fact you civilians would get a lot of military personel killed in battle based on what I have seen so far. This Zerging in war video games is just even more proof that you couldn't handle being an actual leader of an army. To bad too. You might actually learn a thing of two.
Anyway that is my negative review of this game. I now owe someone a game in return and I feel bad because it is a good game. Just sick of lazy developers using the Zerg method to sell there pitiful games. So sad....
