Strategy for Germany vs The USA?
Would anyone please offer some advice for fighting the USA as Germany, 1 vs 1 (multi-player), on a large map (a map made for a 4 player game)? Against a player who likes to build up his economy before fighting (lots depots, then lots of adm buildings).

also: 1945 mode

Well, 1) Tank Destroyers to go against their panzers 2) Not many bunkers because they have the most deadly arty 3) Rush them if possible with the cheapest tanks you have, because they're building up, and use lots of arty against their blockhauses or any other defences. I have not tried this yet, but playing as a German player who does just that, I think that's the way to defeat me.

As Germany, how would you exploit US's weaknesses? What German units would be particulary effective vs the US?

Well, wear them down, or rush them with Panzer 3s. Panzer 4s and 3s are good, use your tanks the best you can, because they're your main forces usually. Use Ju 87s, instead of other bombers because they're very effective against enemy units. I've not played for a bit, so I'm forgetting America's weakness...

From what you said, just spam the Sparrows and that's it. I assume you mean spam air? Well spamming air would be pretty good, but some of those American AA would ruin your plans if they decide to use it in masses. But I guess spamming is a viable option, I don't like it but it works. :P

obviously you never only make 1 unit since theres no such thing as strategies that always work like recipes.

if you play on a big map Air is nearly always the best start and the US player is nearly always gonna go air too, if he doesnt you just go and bomb his depots.

AA cant really stop much unless he spams it and then he only has AA stuck defending a small area unable to spread out without getting strafed by fighters so hes basically trapped in his home sector with nothing useful while you have planes that can attack anywhere on the map and can just spam depots since AA isnt a threat.

i said me262 bc im assuming the US player will make P51's, if he doesnt he pretty much auto loses, which is usually the case for any game involving air vs AA only.

Normally I'd say the German player would be in trouble in this matchup, because a US tank rush is practically unbeatable. But if your opponent prefers to turtle at first, that works to your advantage because it allows you to build your superior aircraft and prototype weapons.

The German Maus is the toughest tank in the game, the Me 262 is the fastest and most powerful fighter in the game, the Arado jet is the fastest and most powerful bomber in the game, the Wirbelwind is the best mobile AAA in the game, use them!

Using radio silence it is possible to sneak a group of jet bombers and recon planes along the edges of the map, then suddenly turn and launch a suicide run on the enemy HQ. You'll probably lose the planes, but he'll lose his HQ.

The American T95 protype tank has no moving turret, which means it is at a significant disadvantage while attacking (while your Maus tanks have moving turrets and can fire while moving). So if he attacks with his T95s, he should lose to your Maus tanks. If he turtles with them, build a ton of cheap fast units to complement your Mauses and attack from multiple directions at once. His turretless T95s will spend most of the battle trying to get into position while your turreted units will just keep shooting.

I mean there are tons of strategys for this game so no one can tell you exactly how to play against somone in a game with a perticular nation. Because we cannot predict the actions of the player you are verusing all stratedgys one give you are redundent and should not be followed. That being said there is one usfull peice of adivce that could be said and it is that ruse is a countering game thus your best strat no matter what is to counter your enemy. Use a decrypt to see what he is going to build and counter. Then there is the basic tactics that will always be used and any decent player knows that is if you are a decent player...

germans have pretty good tanks, build economy then arty them from half the map, set up a large defense for the arty fire position though, and just push the defense/arty boulder up untill you have range.
