To both Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, and Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior. I have had both for quite a while now, and both have grown on me. Both of these games seemed to suffer from a lot of latency issues (Blocks would not count, hits would not connect, players would experience lag, sometimes even over hardware? Issues.) But as time has went on, a lot of these issues have been resolved. The gameplay differs slightly between the two, DW being a bit more fast-paced, and with more classes the issue of balance comes into play, but I feel they have done at least a decent job at attempting to balance out characters. I absolutely love both of these games, although I feel the latency issues still need a bit of polishing. Lower end computers will have a harder time with this issue, for some reason. Playing on a single core processor, I experienced miserable gameplay. While the game itself did not lag, I would find other players were simply too quick to avoid. Blocking was futile, and any hit I landed was by sheer luck. Playing on a much better multi-core processor has eliminated many of those issues, but now regions come into play. So long as I find a server close to me, I am fine. However, if I want to play with friends a far distance away, latency will become an issue for one of us. None the less, the majority of the time this poses little problem, and overall hasn't harmed my experience any. Great gameplay, great style, rather immersive combat system (Although a very simple one overall), and a great pvp experience.
