UDK.exe not working
Hi, I know I should post this on their forums... but I was hoping I might get an answer from someone faster on here....

I've been playing this game happily since I bought it last night. But today I was having trouble getting into a game with a friend, so I tried restarting my game and I keep getting "UDK.exe has stopped working"

I have looked through other posts and have tried reintalling the DX files, verifying cache and deleting the config folder and reverifying it... Still no luck.

Anyone been able to get it going after this?

I had problems getting UDK.exe to work at first, but after I got it working it didn't bug again.

Did you run ANY other programs in between the time it was working, and when it wasn't? Clearly something happened in between those moments.

fixed it, thank you though. For some reason, even though I was running it with it on the first time... The game freaks out when you're using the ts3 overlay... found it on the forum FAQs (D:)

Maybe when I ran it this morning I put TS on AFTER launching chivalry... anyway, it's fine now, thanks for the help :D

try what toaster said ^^

if that doesn't work the chivalry forum has a FAQ that helped me out, marked "READ BEFORE POSTING" (I know, right?) other than that, I don't know what to suggest, a common fix seems to be reinstalling the direct x files (in the chivalry directory, search for DXSETUP) (OR C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\chivalrymedievalwarfare\Binaries\RedistChiv\DXRedistCutdown is my directory) and/or revalidating the integrity of the cache (go in the game's properties on steam)
