But, the best way to level up is play :-) This is not a pay-to-win game. Buying that DLC won't give you any advantage, really... By playing, you'll also learn the game mechanics & strategies along the way, so that you will never get "owned" at any power-level. Reaching power-6 is relatively easy (e.g. 7-8 hours play), and there's a lot to chew on there.

But one team need 8 hours. The time for 3 teams are two much for me.
Keep in mind that competitive play is where ranked matches are, i.e at power-6 & power-12. So, if you don't want that, I suggest you keep to other power-levels. However, match finding can be harder there...
