How to get door kills and red alert?
First question:
How do I get door kills, because I never noticed doors, which can kill enemies.

Second question:
What are the circumstances for a red alert?
I know I got it sometimes, but I don't know what activated it.

1. Doors are a secret easter egg ;) Well, more of a Christmas present.

2. Get to x10 multiplier, and then blast one more droid before the multiplier resets.
So you can't get door kills at the moment, only at christmas time?

You probably know it, but you actually dont need to wait for christmas.. just set your date to 24. December i.e. then start game before it auto syncs to actual time

Sorry for the two-year necrobump but I've got a question and you seem to be really active, even after so long.

I'm trying to get the "Double Jeopardy" achievement but it seems like super difficult (and maybe buggy?) even though a lot of people have earned it.

I several times got to a x10 multiplier then killed several more droids to not start a Red Alert. So, is there a problem with that? Do you need to kill a droid with a higher level than the last one to start a Red Alert? I've tried that but it still doesn't seem consistent.

The bit of code in question is here:

So it's now slightly different in that as you progress through the levels, the Red Alert threshold gets larger and larger. The multiplier itself is uncapped internally - but when applied to scoring it is capped at a maximum of x10, if that makes sense.

If you want to get double jeopardy then, you've actually got to wait till it resets back to 1, because you need it to count up again to exactly MAX_SCORE_MULTIPLIER - 1 + level / 5 to trigger the second Red Alert.

Oh no, that means that if I attempt to do this achievement at level 36 for example, my multiplier would have to be x(10 - 1 + 36 / 5) = x14 to trigger a Red Alert, right?

Damn, that changes everything. I thought the maximum multiplier was x10.

I'll have to replay from the start to get a better suited bot for that. My current Ultrabot is a level 2 bot, it's great as I have unlimited bullets but a level 5 Multi-Blaster bot probably has better damage. Hopefully I can find one early on to max out its stats.

Yes! I got it! I think it was better to attempt it with a higher security bot. And I meant a multiplier of x16 for the precedent post, I messed up a very simple calculation. :P

Now onto the last achiement: "Flush," thanks again for the help!
