1. Full controller support

2. There's a new RPG mode DLC we're working on as an addon to the base game which instead of being an arcade game is a complete, huge mission, which you must attempt to complete; there are no points involved. Instead there are upgrade stations scattered about where you can upgrade your droids.

3. A more comprehensive checkpointing system which also stores your score, transfer points, and which droids you have.

Just so you know, "RPG mode" in droid assault means either my money or a marriage proposal instantly. Your choice (no refunds though). That sounds amazing

Oh, that was the checkpoint-squad-saving changes :) And removing the screen flickering on startup.

Yup, my bad! I've just joined the group. On my defence - steam client > DA > view update history shows nothing useful. Only some entry about the winter sale.

Since I can't make a topic for whatever reason, I'll post this here:

It'd be really cool to have basic squad commands such as:

- follow me

- search and destroy

- go over there (using the mouse to designate)

One of the gripes I have with friendly AI is that often they just seem to hang-around in the spawn. On levels where there are multiple segments that you must teleport to, they never seem to go through a teleporter.

Have you ever considered implementing this cprince?

I'll reply anyway...
- They already do follow you. IF they have brains, AND they haven't got anything to kill.
- They already do search and destroy. IF they have brains.
- It's not an RTS! It's an arcade game.
- The friendlies will never follow down teleports or elevator shafts. That's intentional for level design in the RPG game.
- They only hang around in the spawn area if they're dumb. In general most bots under sec level 4 are pretty dumb. Only multicore brains have actual AI.
