What happens after level 50?

I beat the 2 bosses in level 50. I made it all the way to level 55 without dying. Then when i went back to load in the stages section it would only let me load as recent as level 51? So is the end of arcade mode just to keep playing till you die over and over...or what?

If you didn't die, it should ask you if you want to load your saved game, but to save the game, you must press 'ESC'.

It should go to at least level 60.

A nice feature to have, would be to manually reload your last saved game at will, even when you do die. It's very frustrating to reach the next save point when you NEED to go to bed.

of course if i didnt die i could continue by loading the save, but in this case, i did, which brings me back to my first question: Do you just keep playing until you die or or is thier a secret save checkpoint i should unlock after beating a certain amount of levels?

It's score attack beyond level 50, so we didn't add checkpoints past that level. Think of levels 1-50 as training.
