How do you keep other droids alive?
I like this game a lot, but I don't understand how to keep other droids that you transfer to from foolishly dying. I feel like I spend all my time as one suped-up droid, and pretty much have all the droids I convert die in the same level or the next. Is there some strategy I'm missing?

I played Ultratron before this, and this feels a lot harder. (But still a lot of fun.)

DA is a much more tricky tactical game than UT. There are mitigating strategies that you might want to try:

1. Droids with actual armour last a lot better than droids without.

2. The brain of a droid determines its general behaviour. Single core brains just wander around randomly nearby you, and aren't particularly good at finding you again. Dual core brains patrol and then attack aggressively on sight. Multicore brains have complex AI that makes them chase after enemies - this tends to make them more actually useful but also more prone to getting shot up in a firefight.

3. Your spare droids are of course really just extra lives. You always want at least one heavily armoured slow old tank to jump back into if your main droid gets the finger. Other than that you generally just want to try and keep them alive by defending them but don't try too hard - it's usually just as effective keeping on transferring to newer droids.

All IMHO of course. I may have made the game but I'm nowhere near as good as half the players...

Cas :)
