How do I A+ every chapter? i.e. how does the scoring system work?

I'm so close I can taste it. 35+ hours into this masterpiece... I need to ace it. My left hand is seriously bruised, sore, and mangled and I am not exaggerating or joking at all. But there's still so much fundamental stuff about the scoring system that I do not understand!

I would like to hear as much detail as possible about all the technical aspects of the scoring system and how to get the highest scores. Particularly what the killings, boldness and flexibility scores are and how they work. From devs if they are reading this, or anyone who has figured it out or even has any good guesses.

I'd also like to know, what are the minimum scores to get A+ for each chapter?

For reference, these are the chapters I'm stuck on acing, with my score and grade:

Ch. 9, 66714 A
Ch. 10, 94900 B-
Ch. 11, 50470 B-
Ch. 13, 86444 B+
Ch. 14, 65233 A-
Ch. 17, 43895 A-

Honestly, I just played as Carl (the guy with the drill) and knocked down then drilled everyone whilst they were on the ground. A+ everytime.

Someone else has told me that... From what I understand that worked prior to the patch. The drill finisher used to give some insane amount of points, I think 5000+. Now it's 1100 or so. Thanks for the response though.

Screw drill guy, depends on the level, but best bet is the frog for extended combos. Tho, I want to go back and try to do it with the original mask, just for the challenge.

However, for the biker dude, you just need skills and use your throwing knifes effectively (you can pick them back up if you miss).

I just aced Ch. 9 and Ch. 17. To be honest I'm not sure what I did to improve my score on 9... that's the problem. Really don't know what I did better other than trying for more combos. It didn't beef my combo score that much though, that I did. 17 on the other hand is all biker, so you don't pick up weapons. I didn't bother trying to do anything fancy, I just ran right at enemies and knifed all of them. I worked out routes and timing to combo each floor of the chapter. It boosted my combo score enough I guess to put me into A+.

Right now, I just can't imagine doing 10, 11, 13, 14. Ugh... I'm a sucky suckin scrub gamer. Trying to keep hope alive. I think my hand needs to heal. As an e-thlete I never thought I'd say this but... I think I'm going to start doping while I game. I need that competitive edge. I'm going to start by trying over the counter drugs for pain. If I could just get my hand back to 70%. After this I'm sure Steam will want my titles but I need this. I need to win damn it.

This does not explain anything at all...
I did not use any throwing knife in one of the biker-missions and got A+.
In one where I used it I did not get A+ but something else...


I still do not get the grading system at all.
Having triple the amount of "required" points still does not give you an A+.
Why (even though Frog Mask)?

Hopefully the developers will tell us something more.
I think this will not take the fun out of the game, if you know how to A+ from the start.
Many people take their time and play the same mission with different masks and styles (one only bare hand, the other melee weapons or guns whatever...).

I thinkthat in order to get A+ you have to double the required score.

The easiest way i've found is to use Zach for your mask and then try to be as aggressive and quick as possible. Zach will make sure you get a big end score for combos and going in with the "fast as possible" mentality will untimately net you bonuses for time and boldness since youll be bursting into rooms and bum rushing enemies. I've got A+ on every level this way.

I was so very much frustrated after doing a 15x combo in Chapter 9 and getting just an A.

The final achievement is not glitched for you guys. Some achievements are just hidden and I bet you still haven't done some of them. Count the ones you unlocked. There should be 34 (35 with the last one you don't have) total of them.
