Run out of video memory

What graphics card do you have and how much ram etc? In the meatime, do the usual old stuff of updating or rolling back your graphics driver.

I have 3gb of ram and a 256mb video card it's a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but I can still run some pretty good games with it. According to the system requirements I'll be running it just fine. Also I found another topic of someone with the same problem and he says that he has 1gb of video memory.

Is this a Windows system message telling you that you've run out of memory? Is it specifically saying _video_ memory, or virtual memory? Or, is this an error message coming directly from Hotline Miami?

Is this a clean install of Hotline Miami post-patch? In other words have you completely deleted and then reinstalled the game recently, after the dates in which various patches were released for the game? Some people have fixed a number of issues by simply getting a clean install of the game.
