Music working, then not?

I'm sure I've seen this problem reported before, but I've searched for music, audio and sound with the discussion search, and looked back through all of the August topics, and couldn't find it.

I've got a problem that the game's music starts out fine, then after some levels or segments (seemingly at random) it just stops working until the game is shut down completely and restarted.

This is particularly frustrating in post-level segments that do not feature in the following level's introduction. Thusfar I have cleared chapter 11 five times without the music surviving to view PART FOUR and the rather unique cutscene.

Are you using the beta version? If not, I suggest you try it and see if the problem persists.
Right-click on the game in Library -> Properties -> Betas, code is "hlm".

No idea then, I suggest you post in the dedicated sticky thread, it is watched by devs and they usually answer daily.
